Gaius Cestius Gallus (Consul 35)
Gaius Cestius Gallus from the plebeian gens Cestia was a Roman senator of the 1st century AD.
He was already a senator in 21 when he spoke in a Senate debate and mentioned his successful indictment against Annia Rufilla. In 32 he complained to Prätorier Quintus Servaeus and the Knights Minucius Thermus as friends Sejanus , giving priority to loud Tacitus one of the Emperor Tiberius recited elaborate indictment. Perhaps as a reward, he was made full consul of the year 35.
His son of the same name was 42 suffect consul and from 63 to 67 governor of Syria .
