Gaius Cilnius Proculus (Consul 100)

Gaius Cilnius Proculus was a Roman politician living in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD .

Proculus was governor of the province of Dalmatia in an indefinite year before 100 . A military diploma shows that he was a suffect consul with Marcus Marcius Macer in the year 100 (probably in March and April) . Further diplomas, dated May 8, 100 and May 16, 101, prove that he was governor of the province of Moesia superior from 100 to 101 .

His father of the same name, Gaius Cilnius Proculus , was 87 suffect consul.
