Gaius Coelius Montanus
Gaius Coelius Montanus (full name form Gaius Coelius Gai filius Arnensis Montanus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( eques ) living in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD .
A military diploma shows that in AD 93 he was the commander of the Cohors I Ascalonitanorum , which at that time was stationed in Syria province . Montanus was inscribed in the tribe of Arnensis .
