Gaius Galerius
Gaius Galerius (* 1st century BC; † 1st century) was a Roman knight . Under Emperor Tiberius from around 16 to 31 AD he exercised the prefecture as governor in the imperial province of Egypt and died on the journey home from Egypt.
He was married to Helvia, a sister of Seneca 's mother of the same name , and by brotherhood an uncle of the famous philosopher .
