Gaius Sallustius Aiax
Gaius Sallustius Aiax was a Roman painter who worked in the 1st century.
Sallustius Aiax was a freedman of Senator Gaius Sallustius Crispus Passienus . He is only known from a grave inscription found in Rome on a monumental grave dedicated to him, in which he is referred to as a painter (“pictor”).
