Birch Gallery

Galerie Birch is a Danish art gallery in Copenhagen .

The gallery was founded in 1946 by the art dealer Børge Birch, making it the oldest Danish gallery for modern art . Børge Birch was one of the leading art dealers in Europe and is best known for his collaboration with the artists of the CoBra movement : Asger Jorn , Pierre Alechinsky , Karel Appel , Corneille and Reinhoud d'Haese . In 1994 Børge Birch's daughter, Anette Birch, took over the gallery.
