Galgenmoor is a district of the city of Cloppenburg in the district of the same name in Lower Saxony .
The place is west of the core area of Cloppenburg and west of the B 213 . It is named after the lake of the same name, which is about 200 meters long and 90 meters wide; swimming in the lake is prohibited. The circumference of the Galgenmoors is approx. 600 m and is used for local recreation.
