Galthof (Litschau municipality)
The Galthof is located in the KG Schönau near Litschau in Litschau in the Waldviertel.
Located in a clearing on a protected avenue made of larches, lime trees, oaks, ash trees, robinia and chestnut trees, the Galthof is a former forester's house that belongs to the property of the Counts of Seilern . From 1770 to 1874 there was a glassworks belonging to the Gräflich von Seilern'schen Glasfabrik near Galthof , which was partly fired with wood and partly with peat from the Rottalmoos located about 1 km to the northeast .
