Gambian Workers' Confederation

The Gambian Workers' Confederation (GWC) is a trade union in the West African state of Gambia with its headquarters in Banjul . It is affiliated to the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC = International Trade Union Confederation ).

The International Center for Trade Union Rights (ICTUR) reported that Secretary General Pa Moudou KB Faal was arrested twice by the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) while planning to travel abroad in December 1996 and April 1997.
