Gamelin († 1271 ) was a Scottish bishop of St Andrews in the 13th century. He was Lord Chancellor of Scotland and Guardian of Scotland under Alexander III. as well as papal chaplain. He was appointed bishop of St Andrews during Lent in 1255 and was confirmed in it on July 1, 1255 by Pope Alexander IV , who overlooked his "lack of childbirth". Despite his strong ties to the king, Gamelin supported Alexander Comyn's party . He was exiled from Scotland around 1256, about a year after the party of Comyn's rival Alan Durward usurped the reign. After Durwards was ousted, he was able to return and stayed in Scotland no later than 1270 with certainty. He died in "Inchmurdauch" ( Innse Muiredaich ) in 1271 .
