Garbade (also called Guarbade) is a place in the north of the Plateaux region on the border with the Centrale region in the West African state of Togo . Garbade is part of Wawa Prefecture with its administrative headquarters in Badou. It is located at an altitude of 247 meters and has 7404 inhabitants.

history

The name comes from the German colonial period from 1884 to 1916 and refers to the gender of the North German Garbade family , in Togo the place is also called Guarbade.
