When cooking appliance different devices and equipment in one calls kitchens . They are used for the thermal preparation ( cooking ) of food . In everyday life they differ greatly, depending on the type and location of application and the tradition of the respective user.

A distinction is made between the following groups:

A pressure cooker
Universal devices
Cookers such as electric and gas stoves
Kettle
whereby boiling kettles with their own heat supply are meant and cooking appliances (e.g. stool )
Steam devices and pressure dampers
Pressure cooker with its own heat supply and high-speed steam cooker
Roasting and baking equipment
Tilting frying pan , oven , roasting and grill plates, roasting machines, barbecue smoker
Deep fryers
Grills and roasters
Salamander , swivel grill , spit grill, infrared grill , contact grill , griddle plate , toaster
Special cooking devices
Microwave oven , smoker
