Garsīwaz's granddaughter ran away from home and was brought to Shah Kai Kawus by Tus and Gew . He fell in love with her at first sight and married her. Nine months later she gave birth to a son who was named Siyâwasch .

Siyâwasch, who initially went to war against Afrasiab, later concluded a peace treaty with him and married Farangis , the daughter of Afrasiab. He recognizes Siyâwasch as ruler of "Turan to the sea of Chin". Garsīwaz, angry about this loss of power, slandered Siyâwasch at Afrasiab.
