The residential building at Gartenstrasse 164 is in the Grenzlandstadion district of Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
The building was built in 1922. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach on June 2, 1987 under No. G 025 .
architecture
The Gartenstraße is an old connection road from Rheydt to Mönchengladbach. House No. 164 forms the right half of a semi-detached house with identically structured facades .
The two - storey semi - villa with a hipped roof was built in 1922.
Worth preserving as a necessary counterpart to house No. 166 and as a characteristic example of traditionalist construction from the 1920s.
