E. Gary Crawford (born August 30, 1957 in Denver , Colorado ) is a former American Nordic combined skier .
Crawford competed in the Nordic Combined World Cup for a total of twelve years . He took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1982 . He was also a participant in the 1980 and 1988 Winter Olympics . When he first participated in Lake Placid , he finished 28th in the individual competition. Eight years later in Calgary , he turned 41.
In addition to his Nordic combined career, Crawford was also a golfer . After his active career, he first worked as a coach, then for eight years as a professional golfer. He then worked again as a ski trainer.
Crawford is the son of cross-country skier and Nordic combined skier Marvin Crawford .
