Gary Andrew Naysmith (born November 16, 1978 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player .
Career
Naysmith began his career with the youth teams of the Tynecastle Boys and Hutchinson Vale BC. The center-back also played in Heart of Midlothian's youth before joining the first team in 1996. In 2000 he moved further south of the British Isles to Everton FC , where the Scot played until 2007. He then moved to Sheffield United . In 2012 he returned to Scotland and signed with Aberdeen FC .
Naysmith played 46 times for the Scottish national football team and scored one goal.
