Gas grill

The gas grill is a variant of the grill and is used to roast meat and other foods under radiant heat. The heat is generated by burning gas.

functionality

In contrast to the charcoal grill, the gas grill is operated with gas, mostly butane or propane . The supply is usually ensured via a gas bottle, more rarely via a gas connection. The gas is fed into a pipe system under the grill plate or grill grate, where it is then ignited by a flame (e.g. lighter or match) or a spark generated at the push of a button ( piezo technology). The gas supply and thus the temperature of the plate can be regulated via a valve. With up to six built-in gas burners, the grill plate can often be divided into several temperature zones, similar to a stove .
