Gaspar Gil Polo

Gaspar Gil Polo (* around 1535 in Valencia , † 1591 in Barcelona ) was a Spanish writer .

He continued the unfinished shepherd novel Diana by Jorge de Montemayor after his death. In 1564 the sequel appeared under the title Diana enamorada and achieved a far higher reputation than the original.
