Gastón Alvite , full name Gastón Rodrigo Alvite Duarte , (born March 9, 1996 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.76 meter tall midfielder Alvite has been a member of the first division team Racing Club de Montevideo since the 2015 Clausura . With the Montevideans he made his debut under coach Santiago Ostolaza on May 3, 2015 in the 1: 4 home defeat against Club Atlético Rentistas in the Primera División , when he came on in the 73rd minute for Diego Zabala . This was his only season appearance (no goal). In the 2015/16 season, five more first division appearances followed (one goal). There are six league games (no goal) for him during the 2016 season. In the current 2017 season so far (as of August 10, 2017) he has made 18 further premier league appearances and five goals.
