Gastón Olveira , full name Gastón Hernán Olveira Echeverría , (born April 21, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

The 1.91-meter-tall goalkeeper has been in the first division squad of the Montevideo-based Uruguayan club River Plate Montevideo since at least the 2013/14 season . In that season he finished 3rd in the overall table with his club. Olveira contributed to this with an appearance in the Primera División . He was used 15 times in the 2014/15 season. In the 2015/16 season he completed another twelve top division games (no goal). Seven more premier league appearances followed during the 2016 season.

National team

Olveira cannot make any international appearances in the various age groups of the junior teams. On May 19, 2015, he was initially nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional U-22 squad at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . After all, he was on the final squad and won the tournament with the Celeste.
