The former Goldener Löwe inn is a two-storey, gable - independent, yellow-plastered saddle roof building in Hauptstrasse 2 in the town of Merkendorf in the Franconian Lake District ( Middle Franconia ) and is a listed building.
construction
The building was built at the beginning of the 19th century and borders the Merkendorf city fortifications . The Goldener Löwe inn was located in it until 2000 . After the renovation, the sales room of a local butcher's shop was set up in the premises , which was closed in early 2013 and reopened in early 2014.
