Gasthaus Rössle (2020)

The Gasthaus Rössle in Trillfingen is a listed building from the 18th century.

history

The house was built around 1790. It was designed in the French architectural style by a foreman for the builder d'Ixnard and has stucco ceilings that are worth preserving. The inn was sold by the heirs of the last landlady, Paula Stehle, to a private individual who did not use it.

In the summer of 2010, the city of Haigerloch was considering buying the decaying building, which still had a market value of 14,500 euros, which, however, attached the condition that the monument protection for the Rössle would be lifted and its demolition made possible. After the state monuments office had not given its approval and the journal Denkmalpflege in Baden-Württemberg had reported on the former inn, several private investors expressed their intentions to buy. On October 28, 2010 the Rössle passed into the hands of new owners who want to renovate the building and make it usable partly for commercial and partly residential purposes.
