Martin Kobylański (born March 8, 1994 in Berlin , Germany ) is a Polish soccer player who will be under contract with German third division club Eintracht Braunschweig from the 2019/20 season . He is the son of the Polish midfielder Andrzej Kobylański , who played predominantly in German professional football in the 1990s and 2000s.

Career

Kobylański was born in Berlin when his father was playing for Tennis Borussia Berlin . He began his football career with the youth team of FC Energie Cottbus . He made his professional debut for energy in the 2nd Bundesliga on November 6, 2011 when he came on for Dimitar Rangelow after 15 minutes in the game against SC Paderborn 07 .

At the end of August 2012 Kobylański was signed by Bundesliga club Werder Bremen . There he was in the squad of the second team, for which he made his debut on September 16, 2012 in the game against VfB Lübeck under coach Thomas Wolter , when he came on in the 68th minute for Florian Trinks . He made his debut for the first team on September 21, 2013 at the Northern Derby against Hamburger SV . He could not assert himself at Werder and was loaned to the second division club 1. FC Union Berlin in August 2014 .

Due to a lack of prospects, he moved to Lechia Gdańsk in Poland during the winter break of the 2015/16 season , and was then loaned to Preußen Münster in January 2017 until the end of the season . The striker was signed on June 12, 2017 in Münster. The Pole scored 27 goals for the Münster team in 89 league games.

The striker did not extend his two-year contract, which expired in spring 2019, and instead signed a three-year contract with Eintracht Braunschweig . In the first game of the season Kobylański scored three goals in Braunschweigs 4-2 in Magdeburg . With nine goals in the last ten games and a total of 18 goals this season in the 2019/20 season , he played a key role in Braunschweig's promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga.
