Njegoš Kupusović ( Serbian - Cyrillic Његош Купусовић ; born February 22, 2001 in Bijeljina ) is a Serbian football player . The striker is under contract with Eintracht Braunschweig .

Career

He started playing football at Red Star Belgrade. At his club he also made five appearances in the UEFA Youth League in the 2018/19 season .

In July 2019 he switched to the 2nd Bundesliga on loan to FC Erzgebirge Aue . It was there that he made his first professional appearance when he came on as a substitute for Florian Krüger in the 85th minute of the game on May 31, 2020, the 29th matchday, in the 3-0 away defeat against 1. FC Heidenheim .

In summer 2020 he switched to Eintracht Braunschweig and signed a contract there until 2022.

National team

Kupusović took part with the Serbian U17 national team in the U-17 European Football Championship 2018 in England, where he played in two games. In total, he played a total of ten games for various junior national teams, in which, however, he failed to score.
