Marc Pfitzner (born August 28, 1984 in Braunschweig ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Pfitzner started playing football at the age of five at SC Victoria Braunschweig and joined the youth department of Eintracht Braunschweig via the Turkish SV Braunschweig . Outgrowing the C-youth , the change to the age group of the B2-Juniors should take place instead of the B1-Juniors. Annoyed by this, he moved to the Braunschweig district club and district league club TSV Timmerlah , where he made the leap into the senior division. About the Lower Saxony Landesligisten SV Broitzem and in Niedersachsenliga playing FT Braunschweig he moved in 2005 to the second team of Eintracht Braunschweig, where he was introduced to professional football.

Pfitzner played his first professional game under coach Benno Möhlmann on October 20, 2007 (14th matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the home and league game of the Regionalliga Nord against 1. FC Magdeburg with a substitute for Christian Lenze in the 82nd minute. For the 2018/19 season, he returned to Eintracht Braunschweig after Bremen's relegation to support the U23 in the Lower Saxony Oberliga with his experience. In December 2018, he moved back to the squad of the first team that was in the relegation battle of the 3rd division and held the class with her as tenth in the table. Following the season, he extended his expiring contract by one year. In the 2019/20 season , he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with Braunschweig.
