Felix Burmeister (born March 9, 1990 in Würzburg ) is a German football player .

Career

Felix Burmeister started his career in 1995 at SV Hambühren in the district of Celle and moved to the A-youth of Hannover 96 in 2007 . A year later, Burmeister rose to the second men's team, for which he completed a total of 50 regional league games from 2008 to 2011 , scoring eleven goals. For the 2011/12 season he moved to third division Arminia Bielefeld.

He made his debut for Bielefeld in the 3rd division on July 23, 2011 in the game against VfB Stuttgart II . With Arminia, Burmeister rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2013 and also won the Westphalia Cup twice . After the promotion to the second division, Burmeister extended his contract in Bielefeld until June 30, 2014. In the 2nd Bundesliga, he made his debut on August 11, 2013 in a 1-0 win against FC St. Pauli . On June 12, 2014, Arminia announced that the contract with Burmeister had been extended to 2015. On April 9, 2016, Burmeister scored his first goal in the 2nd Bundesliga in Arminia Bielefeld's 4-1 win at SV Sandhausen .

At the end of the 2015/16 season, Burmeister left Arminia and joined the Hungarian professional team Vasas Budapest on July 22, 2016 under the German coach Michael Oenning . With Vasas he reached a European cup place with third place in his first season , in the 2017/18 season the team was relegated from bottom of the table. As a result, Burmeister moved to third division club Eintracht Braunschweig on a free transfer in July 2018 .
