Marcel Bär (born June 8, 1992 in Gifhorn ) is a German football player . He has been under contract with Eintracht Braunschweig since 2019 and is usually called up in the attacking midfield.

Career

Beginnings

He started his career in his hometown at SV Gifhorn in his youth and later switched to city rivals MTV Gifhorn . There he rose from the A-youth in 2010 to the first men's team, which at that time played in the Braunschweig relay in the Lower Saxony state league .

Eintracht Braunschweig II

After two years in the men's team of MTV Gifhorn, he moved to the reserve team of Eintracht Braunschweig for the 2012/13 season and made his debut on August 5, 2012 in the game against Lupo Martini Wolfsburg in the Lower Saxony Oberliga . He was called up by coach Henning Bürger in the 4-3 victory in the starting lineup. He scored his first two goals on November 4, 2012 in a 3-0 win against VfV 06 Hildesheim . With his goals in the 23rd minute to 1-0 and in the 45th minute to 2-0, he put his team on the road to success. With 68 points, he and his team secured the championship in the Lower Saxony upper league and the associated promotion to the Northern Regionalliga .

He made his debut in the Regionalliga Nord on August 4, 2013 in the game against VfB Oldenburg . He was taken into account by coach Henning Bürger in the 2-0 defeat in the starting lineup. He scored his first goal in the new league on October 5, 2016 in a 1-1 draw against Hamburger SV reserves . In the 7th minute he brought Braunschweig 1-0 up front. On the last day of the 2013/14 season, he played his 50th league game for the Braunschweiger Reserve at VfR Neumünster . The game ended 1: 1 and he scored the interim 1-0 lead in the 61st minute.

In the 3-0 win against FC St. Pauli II on August 31, 2014, he scored his 10th league goal for the reserve of Eintracht. In the 67th minute, he achieved the interim 2-0 lead. On February 14, 2015, he played his 50th game in the Regionalliga Nord in a 3-3 draw against BSV Rehden .

FC Carl-Zeiss Jena

For the 2015/16 season he left Braunschweig and joined FC Carl Zeiss Jena . He celebrated his turbulent debut for Jena in the Regionalliga Nordost on July 24, 2015 in a 3-0 win against VfB Auerbach . He was called up by coach Volkan Uluc in the starting line-up and scored his first goal for Carl Zeiss in the 35th minute with a 1-0 lead. In the 67th minute he prepared the 3-0 final score by Manfred Starke and eleven minutes later he was expelled from the field for assault. On May 28, 2016, he and his team secured the Thuringia Cup by beating FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt 2-0 .

FSV Zwickau

After only one season he left Jena again and joined the third division promoted FSV Zwickau . He made his debut for the new team in the 3rd division and thus his professional debut on July 30, 2016 in the game against the Mainz Reserve. In the 2-2 draw, he was substituted on by coach Torsten Ziegner in the 80th minute for Robert Berger . With his first goal for the Zwickau he immortalized himself in the history books of the FSV Zwickau. In the 1: 2 defeat against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt on September 11, 2016, he scored the first Zwickau goal in the newly built Zwickau stadium with the interim 1: 1 equalization in the 31st minute . On September 20, 2016, he scored three goals in the game against SSV Jahn Regensburg and thus played a major role in the 4-0 victory.

Bär moved to third division VfR Aalen at the beginning of the 2017/18 season .
