The Gasthaus Zur Sonne is a two-storey eaves - standing, yellow-plastered saddle roof building in Hauptstrasse 6 in Merkendorf in the Franconian Lake District ( Middle Franconia ) and is a listed building.
construction
The building was built at the beginning of the 18th century and has half-timbered struts on the upper floor . In addition to the inn, which is a meeting point for many Merkendorf associations and organizations, the building houses a butcher's shop .
