The Gasthaus zum Klos is a former farm belonging to the Farchant community in Upper Bavaria . The building is a listed building on the basis of the Monument Protection Act of October 1, 1973, the file number is D-1-80-116-22.

The Gasthaus zum Klos in Farchant

The former farm "zum Klos" stands in the middle of the village and was built as a flat saddle roof in the 18th century. The building has an arbor on both sides and the ground floor now houses the "Gasthaus zum Klos" . The name goes back to Niklas Schönach, who lived in the house with the old house number 64 between 1755 and 1820. The roof structure and the decorative collar had to be replaced on November 1st, 2007 after a major fire.
