Gasthaus zum Ochsen (Engen)
The Gasthaus zum Ochsen in Engen , a town in the district of Konstanz in Baden-Württemberg , was first mentioned in 1471. The former inn on Hauptstrasse 33, on the corner of Spendgasse, is a protected monument .
history
The building was built as a town house for the Barons of Reischach . At the end of the 16th century it came into the possession of the Vogler family. In the 19th century extensive renovations and the establishment of the Gasthaus zum Ochsen took place. Since the middle of the 20th century, the building has only been used as a residential building.
