Guest country flag of a German sailing yacht in Denmark

A host country flag is a small national flag of the country in which a foreign ship is currently located. It is a nautical custom abroad to set the national flag on the starboard side of the ship's mast in honor of the host country. Furthermore, with the raising of the host country flag, it should be expressed that one is subordinate to the laws of the country visited. The flag should always be higher, but at least as high as your own national flag on the mast.
