The building management Schleswig-Holstein (GMSH) is an institution under public law with its seat in Kiel , which is active in the field of building management in Schleswig-Holstein.

It was founded in 1999 and emerged from the previous state building authorities. The GMSH performs the client and planning tasks for the state of Schleswig-Holstein and the federal government within Schleswig-Holstein. GMSH also took on property management, leasing and administration for LVSH (Schleswig-Holstein property management) until January 1, 2012.

In addition, the GMSH is responsible for the management of state and federal properties and takes care of the procurement of materials and services for all state authorities. All caretakers of state properties such as local courts, tax offices etc. are direct employees of the GMSH in the area of ​​management.
