The Predel memorial is a listed memorial in the village of Predel in the Elsteraue community in Saxony-Anhalt . In the local register of monuments , the war memorial is listed as a monument under registration number 094 86225 .

The Predel memorial consists of the three war memorials for the war of 1870–71, the First World War and the Second World War.

This war memorial is a multi-level stele . A plaque with a laurel wreath and an inscription is set in the stelae. The inscription reads The fallen from 1870–71 .

The war memorial for the fallen in World War I was created by the Steinmetz company from Zeitz . The unveiling of the war memorial took place on July 3, 1921. The war memorial is a hexagonal stele that tapers towards the top. The stele is crowned by the heraldic animal of the empire, an eagle. As a sign of mourning, the eagle has lowered its wings. Two iron crosses adorn the sides of the stele. One is on the south side and one on the north side. The year of the war and the names of the fallen are engraved on the other sides of the stele.

The war memorial for the fallen in World War II was erected in 1995 and is a boulder . A memorial plaque was attached to this boulder. The inscription on the plaque reads Time heals all wounds In honor of our missing and fallen in the war of 1939-45 The citizens of the village of Predel 1995 . The names of the fallen are not given.
