Justice Palace Munich

The memorial plaque was erected in 1998

In the Palace of Justice on November 30, 1998 , the Bavarian Minister of Justice Alfred Sauter, in the presence of the President of the Israelite Religious Community Charlotte Knobloch, unveiled a memorial plaque in a wall niche near the entrance door in honor of the lawyers disenfranchised 60 years ago.

At the beginning of 1933, a total of 225 lawyers of Jewish origin were admitted to the higher regional court district (...), of which only 18 returned or were able to return after 1945 .
