Gedser Odde is a cliff on the southern tip of the island of Falster in Denmark . It is located at the southern end of a headland and is geographically the southernmost point of Denmark and Scandinavia . There is a regular ferry connection from the nearby town of Gedser to Rostock, about 48 km away .

The locality is a destination for bathing tourists (sandy beach between Gedser and Gedser Odde), nature lovers (rich bird life with the bird reserve Bøtø Nor ) anglers and rock collectors (site of petrified marine fossils and amber ).
