Geelvink Bay languages

Geelvink Bay is a language family with 33 languages ​​and a total of 22,000 speakers, which is common in the region of the same name in the western part of New Guinea ( Irian Jaya ). Geelvink Bay is now called Cenderawasih Bay and is located in northwest New Guinea up to the island of Yapen . A possible relationship with another Papuan language family has not yet been proven.
