Werner Schley
Werner Schley (born January 25, 1935 in Basel , † May 30, 2007 in Mallorca , Spain ) was a Swiss football player.
Schley started his football at FC Nordstern Basel . The goalkeeper played for FC Basel from 1952 to 1953 . 1953–54 at the Grasshopper Club Zurich and then 1954–1958 again at FC Basel. From 1958 to 1965 he was with FC Zurich . In the 1960s, his teammates included the former Swiss national coach Köbi Kuhn . In 1953 he was with FCB and in 1963 he was Swiss champion with FCZ. In the 1963/64 season he reached the semi-finals against Real Madrid with FC Zurich in the championship cup .
