Battle at Ölper

The battle at Ölper refers to two battles that took place near the town of Ölper , a district of Braunschweig in Lower Saxony :

  • Battle of Ölper (1761) on 13/14 October 1761 between Duke Friedrich August von Braunschweig-Lüneburg and French troops
  • Skirmish at Ölper (1809) on August 1st, 1809 between the "Black Troop" Duke Friedrich Wilhelm von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Oels and again French troops.
