The Yellow List Pharmindex is a pharmaceutical directory for Germany. It is published by Medical Media Informations GmbH MMI in Neu-Isenburg . The book edition is available for various medical specialties. Currently (April 2017), the one for general practitioners contains over 26,000 preparations with all important information on areas of application , contraindications , drug interactions , side effects , dosage , pack sizes and prices. The book, which is published twice a year (43,000 copies each) and the CD version (91,500 copies) updated four times a year, are free of charge for resident doctors by mail. The online version is also free of charge, but the full range of functions can only be used by medical-pharmaceutical experts. It is financed through advertising.

In terms of the scope of the preparations it contains, the “yellow list” is comparable to the red list , but with regard to the information content and structure it focuses on different things. In addition to trade names, manufacturers , drug groups and active ingredients, z. B. can also be searched for keywords. An ATC system is also included. Another special feature is the " Identa " search, which enables tablets and capsules to be identified based on their appearance. It also contains information about the divisibility of a preparation.
