The medical media information GmbH (MMI) is a German communication company in the health sector based in Neu-Isenburg . The media company, which was founded in 1970, publishes the Yellow List Pharmindex . In addition to standard directories, guides and information media, drug information systems and IT solutions for drug therapy safety are developed.

MMI is part of the VIDAL Group , a company in the field of health informatics and information systems based in Paris. The VIDAL Group has local companies in numerous European countries. Its parent company AXIO Data Group is represented with medical publications and information systems in 25 countries around the world.

Publishing program

In addition to the Yellow List Pharmindex , which has been published since 1970, the range of products also includes the Rehabilitation and Care Facilities Manual , the Identa Yellow List and manuals for doctors. In 2009, the publisher published the drug prescriptions for the first time , a book on rational pharmacotherapy published by the drug commission of the German medical profession . The publisher has also been publishing patient books since 2006.

In addition to the print products, MMI also publishes electronic editions, the MMI Pharmindex , with additional content and usage options. An application for the Apple iPhone has been available since 2010 .
