Beloved Enemies - The Germans and the French is a documentary in 10 episodes from 2013.

The joint production by Arte, ZDFinfo and Gruppe 5 Filmproduktion GmbH was nominated for the German Television Award in 2014 .

Annette Frier plays the German cliché role in the regular intermediate dialogues of the documentary contributions and Antonia de Rendinger the French counterpart.

Philipp Schepmann is the narrator.
