Philipp Schepmann

Philipp Schepmann (* 1966 ) is a freelance German actor , speaker , director and producer from North Rhine-Westphalia . He runs his own sound studio under the title ps-audio Studio.

life and career

Philipp Schepmann studied acting from 1989 to 1993 at the Folkwang University of the Arts . He then played in several plays at the Aalto Theater in Essen , at the Münster City Theaters and at the stages of the City of Cologne . Since 1997 he has worked as a freelance speaker and actor for radio, stage and television. Schepmann had various smaller appearances on television, including in Lindenstrasse , Alarm für Cobra 11 , Wilsberg and Hellish Neighbors . He also played in some sketch shows, from 2002 to 2007 he was part of the main cast of Mensch Markus .

Schepmann also works on radio and audio book productions . In addition to working for public broadcasters and various publishers such as Der Hörverlag or Lübbe Audio , he also produced some audio books independently. For example, The King of Narnia (published by Brendow Verlag), Tales of the Little Star (published by Hänssler Verlag ) as well as the Hörbibel series ( Good News ) and Die Große HörBibel (based on Martin Luther) for the German Bible Society . For the audio book The King of Narnia , Schepmann was nominated for the WDR German Audio Book Prize in 2006 in the Best Speaker category. The most extensive of his projects was Die Große HörBibel , an audible Bible spoken with different roles , in which more than 80 speakers took part, including well-known voice actors such as his father Ernst-August Schepmann . In addition to working as a producer, Schepmann also appeared here as a director and spokesman for Jesus .
