content

The book tells the second story of Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. You haven't been to Narnia in a year, but 1,300 years have passed. Just on the way to school - they are standing in a train station - they suddenly find themselves in the ruins of their old Cair Paravel castle (in earlier translations "Feeneden"), where they meet a dwarf named Trumpkin. He tells that the Telmarer, a people from the west, conquered Narnia and expelled the ancient inhabitants of Narnia. At the moment, Miraz, who has come to power illegally, whose nephew Caspian, would actually be the rightful ruler. After a son was born to Miraz, Caspian fled with his dwarf-born teacher, as he now fears that he will be killed by Miraz.

Together they start a revolution of the Old Narnianas and then begin an open fight against the Telmarians. However, since the situation looks hopeless, Caspian uses Susan's old magic horn to bring the four children back. Together with Trumpkin, the children set out on the dangerous path to the Narnian camp, while the old spirits of the forest reappear around them.

And Aslan appears again too. At first the children cannot see him, but gradually they slip into their old roles and see him with them, the youngest among them, Lucy first, Susan last. With the help of the Old Narnians, the children, Prince Caspian and Aslan fight against Miraz. In a duel, Peter finally defeats Miraz, Caspian becomes king. In the end, Peter and Susan find out that they are no longer allowed to come to Narnia because they are already too old.
