Andrew Adamson

Andrew Ralph Adamson , MNZM (born December 1, 1966 in Auckland ) is a New Zealand director .

Life

In 2001 Andrew Adamson made his directorial debut with the animated film Shrek . Before that he was responsible for the visual effects in the film Batman Forever . His first directorial work with real actors is the film The Chronicles of Narnia: The King of Narnia , which is based on the well-known series of novels by CS Lewis . The film was very successful in international cinemas. The film adaptation of the second volume, entitled The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian of Narnia , opened in cinemas on July 31, 2008. Andrew Adamson also directed and wrote the script for this film .
