Our Dear Women Community Center
The community center Our Dear Women of the Church Our Dear Women is located in Bremen , Schwachhausen district , H.-H.-Meier-Allee 40a. The center was built in 2017 according to plans by the architects Völlmar Architektur with Katja Annika Pahl (LPH 1-5) and Campe Janda (LPH 6-8). The open space was designed by Anna Viader together with nsp Christoph Schonhoff landscape architects and urban planners. In 2018 it was awarded the Bremen BDA main prize 2018 and among other things in the "Architecture Guide Bremen / Bremerhaven" and in the yearbook "Architecture in Hamburg 2018/19".

On behalf of the Bremen Evangelical Church (BEK), the parish center was built for the parish of the Liebfrauenkirche in Bremen, consisting of the parish hall with a cubic hall and the two-storey daycare facility. The buildings are set back from the street on a forecourt that leads to a courtyard with a cloister . The construction costs amounted to 4.4 million euros.
The BDA jury found: “Anyone who studies the disciplined and sophisticated floor plan, who intuitively experiences the pleasant atmosphere in the rooms, which is characterized by a lot of larch wood and the light Danish brick, ... will be asked what the architects can do better , can't think of an answer. "
