The community center of the Christian community Ostbevern is the church and the center of a free church community in Ostbevern .

The approximately 1700 m² building was built in 2000 by the community members themselves. In the multifunctional building there is a church service room for approx. 400 people, social rooms, but also a fitness room, billiards and table tennis room.
history
At the beginning of the 1990s, many Russian-German families from the former Soviet Union , mainly from Kazakhstan and Ukraine , settled in Ostbevern . Despite the different denominations, especially Evangelical Lutheran but also Uniates , Orthodox , the association of the "Christian Community Ostbevern" was founded. At first they used the rooms of the Christ Church for their services and then the auditorium of the primary school. With the construction of the community center, they now have their own building. Every year the Christian community organizes an aid transport to Ukraine.
