Geminus is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon . It is located west of Bernoulli crater and north of Burckhardt crater . The crater wall is terraced and the interior has a central mountain .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Greek astronomer Geminos of Rhodes .
