The Gen-ethical Information Service ( GID ) is a bimonthly magazine in Berlin that reports critically on developments in genetic and reproductive technology from an ethical perspective . The Gen-ethisches Netzwerk eV (GeN) has been the publisher since 1986. The magazine is a cooperation partner of the Internet portal Linksnet .

A long-time employee and author of the information service was the sociologist Bernhard Gill until 1990 .
