Genadijus Mikšys
Genadijus Mikšys (born July 16, 1956 in Joniškis , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of Šiauliai.
Life
After graduating from high school in Joniškis in 1974, he graduated from the Antanas Sniečkus Political Engineering Institute in Kaunas in 1979 and became an engineer. From 1979 to 1990 he worked in the Šiauliai (“Vairas”) bicycle factory , from 2001 to 2002 he was director of UAB “Naujoji šiluma” and from 2002 to 2003 UAB “Rolvika” (director of the Šiauliai branch). From 2003 to 2007 he was the administrative director and from 2007 to 2011 mayor of the municipality of Šiauliai .
