Gender Forum is an academic online journal published by the English Department of the University of Cologne and representatives of English-language literary and cultural studies. It was founded in 2002 and appears in English due to its international orientation.

Gender Forum discusses gender studies topics in the fields of literature, culture, media, art, politics, natural sciences, medicine, religion and philosophy. Each issue is dedicated to a specific topic. In addition to research articles, reviews, interviews and literary texts are also published. The articles submitted for publication go through a peer review process.

The editorial board consists of Beate Neumeier (main responsible), Mita Banerjee, Nilufer E. Bharucha, Carmen Birkle , Ingrid Hotz-Davies, Ralph Poole, Kay Schaffer and Chris Weedon.

Gender Forum appears four times a year and is freely accessible via any internet connection.
